What is a caipirinha?

Very little is known about the origin of the most popular drink in Brazil, but the name suggests that the invention took place in the rural area, where a very creative person noticed that there is indeed a cure for the flu (lemon and sugar ) and “fatigue” (cachaça).

Let’s get to it: how to make a caipirinha?

> Ingredients:

- Half lemon
- One tablespoon of sugar
- 40-60 ml of cachaça
- Ice

> How to prepare:

- Cut the lemon in half, and that half into four parts;
- Put the cut half into a shaker, along with a tablespoon of sugar, a shot of cachaça and ice;
- Shake!
- Serve and taste the wonder hidden in the simplicity of this recipe.
