Ontem tive a honra de ir a um dos eventos do Yelp Elite, dessa vez no Cabinet de sa Majesté. Pra deixar claro, não faço parte (ainda) da elite do Yelp, mas tenho a sorte de ser bem conectada à pessoas (cof cof *Meg* cof cof) que o são e me convidam hehe.
Como esse blog não é bem sobre os eventos que eu vou, mas sobre dicas pra quem vem à Parri, vou falar mais sobre o Cabinet de sa Majesté do que sobre o evento (genial) em si.
O Cabinet acabou de abrir bem ao lado de um dos prédios da INSEEC, onde faço o meu mestrado, o que é uma excelente noticia pra mim – e pra todo mundo, né? Dos mesmos donos do Les Fils à Maman e do Le Petit Resto dans la Prairie (ambos restaurantes muito, muito bons e merecedores de posts só pra eles), esse restaurantezinho simpático é a essência do lugar cool parisiense.
O Cabinet tem uma decoração um pouquinho peculiar (animais empalhados e outras peças vindas direto de mercados das pulgas), e de nobre e real não tem nada além do nome da rua. Mas ele é tão charmoso!
Durante o evento nos deliciamos com as maravilhas abaixo, todas aprovadíssimas. Recomendo principalmente o mini burguer, e o croquete de camembert pros vegetarianos.
Ficou com água na boca, né? Tá esperando o quê?

Yesterday I had the honor of attending one of the Yelp Elite events, this time at the Cabinet de sa Majesté. To clarify things, I’m not (yet) a part of the Yelp Elite, I just happen to be really well connected to people (cof cof *Meg* cof cof) who are, and they invite me hehe.
Since this blog isn’t exactly about the events I attend, but about the places I can recommend to people who come to Paris, I’ll talk more about the Cabinet than about the (fantastic) event itself.
The Cabinet just opened right next to one of INSEEC’s buildings, where I’m pursuing my masters degree, which is an awesome piece of news for me – and for everyone else too, really. By the same owners of Le Fils à Maman and Le Petit Resto dans la Prairie (both being really great restaurants and deserving of posts for themselves), this little restaurant is the essence of the cool Parisian hole-on-the-wall.
It has a bit of a peculiar decoration (stuffed animals and other objects straight out of flea markets), and it has just about nothing royal or noble about it other than the name of the street it is on. But it is so goddam charming!
During the event we got to delight ourselves with the wonders in the picture above (blackboard), all of which I suggest emphatically – especially the mini burgers. And the croquettes de camembert for the vegetarians out there.
